Media Professional is the home of Brent Heber’s training and consulting services but who is Brent Heber?

With over 15 years audio production experience, Brent is one of the worlds leading pro audio and post production workflow trainers. With qualifications ranging from the Tonmeister classical recording accreditation to the Avid Certified Service and Repair certificate, there are few engineers with such a diverse range of experience.

Brent started in short form advertising, recording voice overs and producing 15 and 30 second ads for cinema, radio and tv before moving onto post production for films and documentaries.

Most importantly Brent spent 7 years representing Avid’s Digidesign brand within Australia and New Zealand – a role he won for his unique combination of technical skills with Pro Tools and relationships with the various major players in the region. Throughout his time at Avid, Brent received the mentoring of his fellow Avid experts worldwide on best practices and in turn the feedback of the local clients on how they approach their craft greatly accelerating his experience with a unique global perspective.

Brent’s passion for audio and production and his patience with his students makes him an in-demand trainer, consistently filling his short course classes at the local Avid training centre, UTS:ProSchool.
